94' FULL TIME - The final whistle blows. The LionsXII ended their campaign in the Malaysia Super League after a 17-year absence as they started it, with a loss at home. Dominated possession, but unable to get a goal. The Lions hit the post 3 times, and we have to give credit to the Johor defence which held strong.

Hariss Harun: "We wanted to end our season with a victory. We started the game with many chances, but we were unable to convert them. We tried our best......we were probably rushing it and unable to get the goals." He added on the return of the Lions to the Malaysia Super League, "I think it is tremendous for all of us here." He also apologised to the fans for their disappointing performance.

The 128-page book, 50 Greatest Moments in Singapore Football, was launced last night by the Legion of Lions and The New Paper. President Tony Tan, who hosted the event, said, "These moments have brought together generations of Singaporeans."
